Documentation Instructions
Schrödinger documentation is available online at schrodinger.com/documentation (Note: in releases prior to 22-2, the documentation is bundled within Maestro).
If online access is not available, you can download a local copy of the documentation to install in Maestro from the bottom of the Download Releases webpage:
-
Make sure the Schrödinger software is downloaded and installed first as the documentation files will be loaded into the software installation.
-
Choose the release version of the software at the top of the page.
-
Click on DOWNLOAD DOCUMENTATION at the bottom of the page (Note: in releases prior to 22-2, the documentation is bundled within Maestro so there is no need to download documentation separately) .
-
Once you've downloaded the zip file, unzip and move the contents into the "docs" folder in the Schrödinger software installation. Make sure that you do not overwrite the current content of the "docs" folder when moving the content.
To set Maestro to use local documentation, you must start Maestro with the SCHRODINGER_SHOW_LOCAL_DOCS environment variable:
SCHRODINGER_SHOW_LOCAL_DOCS=1 $SCHRODINGER/maestro
Maestro always tries to use online documentation first if it is available.
Local documentation can then be accessed through the Maestro Help menu and the panel help buttons.
