Displaying Entry Properties in the Workspace
When viewing structures in the Workspace, it can be useful to display some of the entry properties for the structure as well, for quick reference. For example, when displaying a set of ligand poses, it may be useful to show the value of the Glide docking score or the FEP+ relative binding energy in the Workspace as well, so you can relate the pose to the energetics.
The properties of a single entry can be displayed in the top left corner of the Workspace. This entry (the "target" entry) must be either:
- the only entry in the Workspace,
- the only non-fixed entry in the Workspace, or
- the only selected entry in the Workspace.
You can select the properties for display and arrange the order of the properties in the Change Workspace Properties dialog box. To open this dialog box, move the pointer into the top left corner, and when the pointer changes to a hand, click. Right-clicking shows a menu from which you can open this dialog, and hide the properties.
To show or hide the property display, click the Workspace Properties button in the Workspace Configuration Toolbox
or choose Window → Workspace Properties.
You can set up the appearance of the property text in the Preferences Panel, under Workspace settings in the Feedback group. You can also select the properties and show or hide the property display in this section as well. All of the settings can be saved as preferences for future Maestro sessions.
