Applying Constraints for Protein Refinement

Prime provides five kinds of constraints that you can apply in a refinement: distance constraints (also known as pairwise constraints), Cartesian constraints, helical constraints, spatial constraints, and membrane constraints. You can apply the constraints in the Constraints dialog box for the refinement task, which you open by clicking Constraints in any of the refinement task panels. The various kinds of constraints are set in separate tabs. Distance and Cartesian constraints are available for all types of refinements; helical, spatial, and membrane constraints are only available for loop refinement.
