Change Axis Settings Dialog Box
In this dialog box you can make settings that control the appearance of the axis labels in scatter plots.
To open this dialog box, click the Axis Settings link in the Create New Scatterplot Panel, View Chart Panel (Scatter default), or View or Edit Chart Panel - Scatterplot.

- Labels settings

Turn on labels for the x and y axes and specify the labels. Check the box for an axis to specify the axis label and the font size of the label text, in points. The default label is the property name.
- Ranges settings

Specify the ranges of the x and y variables for the plot, in the Minimum and Maximum text boxes. Check the box for an axis to set its limits; if it is unchecked, the limits are determined automatically and are displayed, grayed out, in the text boxes. Some rounding is done to decrease the number of significant digits in the end points.
- Ticks settings

Specify the number of tick marks on the axis and their format, in the Increment, Decimals, and Font Size text boxes. Check the box for an axis to set the values; if it is unchecked, the values are determined automatically from the axis ranges to give a reasonable appearance.
