Order all properties (shown and hidden) according to the option chosen from the option menu. The choices are Alphabetical, Reverse Alphabetical, Current Project Order, Family Alphabetical, and Property Tree Order.
When ordering by family, the families are ordered alphabetically for each family type. Custom families are placed before standard families. If a property belongs to more than one family, it is ordered according to the first family it belongs to, and ignored for the other families. Within each family, the properties are ordered according to their current order in the list. This allows you to order the families, but not change the order within the family. Any properties that are not in a family are effectively moved to the end, in the current relative order.

Filter the contents of the property list so that only the items that match the expression in the text box anywhere in the property name are displayed. You can use the wildcard characters
*for zero or more characters and?for a single character, and square brackets to enclose a range of characters. The filtering is done as soon as you type in the text box. To remove the filter, click the clear button
. - Filter button menu

This button opens a menu with sorting and subset items. You can choose sort the list in one of two ways: Alphabetical or Project table order, and you can filter the properties shown in the list to those in the chosen subset. The subsets include the defined property families and two other items, All primary, and Shown (the properties that are shown in the Project Table). If you choose one of the subsets, its name is displayed below the filter text box, with a close button
so you can remove the subset filter. In some instances, a filter is preselected when you open the dialog box. - Property list

List of properties for selection. You can use the standard click, control-click and shift-click actions to select multiple properties. The selected properties are highlighted in the list. If you filter the list, any properties that are already selected that do not match the filter are listed below a separator in the list, with the filtered list above.
- Select button menu
-
This menu provides a way of selecting classes of properties. The available menu items include the following:
- All in Project—select all properties in the project.
- All Displayed in Table—select all properties that are visible (i.e. not hidden) in the Project Table.
- Invert Selection—invert the property selection by selecting those that aren't currently selected, and deselecting those that are.
- Clear Selection—clear the property selection.
- Buttons for moving properties
-
The four buttons to the right of the list allow you to move the selected properties to the top or the bottom of the list, or to move them up or down by one place. If the selection is discontiguous, each property is moved stepwise up or down the list.
If the selection range includes hidden properties, these properties are moved if you select All in Project for the properties to list. In this case, the hidden properties are set in italics. If you selected All Displayed in Table, the hidden properties are treated as though they are not selected, and so are not moved with the selected properties.
If hidden properties are not listed, properties are always moved to a point above any hidden properties in the new location.

Apply the changes in the property ordering to the Project Table and close the dialog box. If you do not want to make the changes, click Cancel instead.
