Compute Sequence Descriptors Dialog Box
Compute values for a set of descriptors for the sequences in the current tab of the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel.
To open this dialog box, choose Other Tasks → Compute Sequence Descriptorsin the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel.

Using the Compute Sequence Descriptors Dialog Box
This dialog box computes specified sequence descriptors for sequences in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel. The descriptors can then be added to the display of properties along with Maestro properties. List of descriptors for which values are to be calculated. You can select items to remove them from the list.
- Add button

Add descriptors to the list. Opens a list with a search field at the top. The list is pruned as you type in the search field. To redisplay the full list, clear the search field.
- Delete button

Select descriptors in the list and click this button to remove them from the list.
- Reset to defaults link

Reset the list to the default set of descriptors.
- Calculate for selected sequences only option

Calculate the descriptors for the sequences that are selected in the current tab of the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel. By default, descriptors are calculated for all sequences in the current tab.
