- Results of search run from option menu
-
Choose the tab in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel that has the homolog search results you want.
- Reference Sequence text
-
Displays the title of the reference sequence used in the search
- Algorithm text
-
Displays the algorithm used in the search (BLAST or PSI-BLAST).
- Select one or more homolgs to import into viewer table
-
Search results are listed in a table from which you can select one or more homologs. The name shows the PDB ID and chain number. The scores and percentage identity, percent positive, and percent gaps are shown, along with the description of the structure.
- Choose top text box and Select button
-
Specify the number of homologs to select in the table: the top N rows of the table are selected when you click Select. You can order the rows by sorting the columns, so that top refers to the highest or lowest values in the column you sort by.
- Includes structures when importing PDB sequences option
-
Include the structures when you import the sequences. The structures are necessary if the homologs are used as templates for modeling. If you only want sequences, you can deselect this option.
- Import into active tab option
-
Import the selected homologs into the current active tab in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel. Ths need not be the tab from which the search was run, if you want to use them for other purposes. If this option is not selected, the results are imported into the tab from which the search was run.
- Export button menu
-
Export the entire table or the selected rows to a CSV file. Opens a file selector so you can name and save the file.
