Link Sequences to Maestro Entries Dialog Box
Link sequences to corresponding Maestro entries to associate the structure with the sequence, or remove the linking for already associated sequences.
To open this dialog box, choose Select → Link Sequences to Entriesin the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel.

- Unlinked Sequences tab

Link sequences that are not yet linked to a structure in the Maestro project.
- List only options

List only the entries and chains specified by these options.
- Current Workspace entries—list only the entries that are included in the Workspace. If not selected, all entries in the project are listed.
- Unlinked chains—list only the chains that do not have an associated structure. If not selected, all chains are listed.
- MSV sequences table

This table lists the sequences in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor with the title, chain and number of residues. You can select a single row to associate the chain with an entry.
- Entry chains table

This table lists the chains for each Maestro project entry, with the Project Table row number, the entry title, the chain name, and the number of residues. You can select a single row to associate with a sequence. If the Maestro project is large, it may take some time for the table to be loaded.
- Statistics for pair match

When you have chosen a sequence and an entry chain, the percentage identity of the aligned portion of the entry chain and the MSV sequence, and the percentage of residues covered by the alignment, is reported below the tables for this pairing. You can use these statistics to help match sequences with entry chains.

Click this button after choosing a sequence and an entry chain to associate them. The association is made and the sequence and entry chain are moved as a pairing to the Linked Sequences tab. A structure icon is added to the sequence in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel.

Unlink sequences from their structures.

This table lists the MSV sequence and entry chain, by title and chain name. You can select a row to disassociate the sequence and the structure.
- Unlink button

Click this button to unlink (disassociate) the selected sequence/chain pairing. The sequence and entry chain are removed from the table and added to the Unlinked Sequences tab, and the structure icon is removed from the sequence in the Multiple Sequence Viewer/Editor Panel.
