Using the Import from Project Dialog Box
When you select the menu item to open the panel, a project selector opens first, so you can choose the project to import from. This dialog box opens with the contents of the chosen project displayed, in the same form as in the Project Table Panel.
If the project is from an earlier version of the project facility, it may need to be converted before the contents can be imported. This is done automatically if the project is not too old, and a dialog box is displayed informing you of the need for conversion and the progress. The conversion is temporary, and is discarded after the import. If you import frequently from an older project that needs conversion, you might want to open the project in Maestro and save the converted project. If the project is much older and cannot be read or converted by the current Maestro, you might need to open it in an older version of Maestro that can convert it, then save the converted project, and convert it again with the current Maestro.
Importing entries imports any associated data, like surfaces, trajectories, or hypotheses, and the Workflow Action Menu is also preserved on import. Properties can be selected for import. If you select all entries and all properties to import, this is the same as merging the chosen project into the current project.

-
Display the 2D structures to the left of the title in the table.
- Project table
-
This table displays the entries and properties in the same way as the Project Table Panel, except that there is no Workspace inclusion (In) column. The Row and Title columns are fixed, and the Title column displays icons for additional data (which is also imported).
- Property Tree tools
-
The property tree tools are the same as in the Property Tree panel in the Project Table. You can filter the properties to those matching text in the text box, or change the displayed properties using the menu on the right. The first item on the menu reverts to the set of properties visible when the project was opened rather than the previous set. See Organizing Properties for more information.
