Plot Computed Values Over Time Panel

Displays plots of properties calculated for a trajectory as a function of simulation time.
Property values are sums of values over all atoms involved in the property definition, e.g. interaction energies are sums of all interactions between two sets of atoms.

To open this panel, choose a property from the Plot button menu in the Trajectory Player.

Plot Computed Values Over Time Panel Features

Plot features

Each plot has the features listed below:

  • Title—the entry title is displayed at the top of the plot area.
  • Heading—details of the property are given below the entry title.
  • Minimize and Close buttons—displayed to the right of the heading.
  • Plot area—displays the plot. Right-clicking opens the shortcut menu. Clicking a point on the plot displays the corresponding trajectory frame in the Workspace and zooms in to the atoms involved in the property.
  • Shortcut menu—has items to hide or delete the plot, to export the plot as an image (opening the Save Image panel), or to export the data to a CSV file or an Excel workbook.
Reset button

Reset the panel to its default settings, clearing all data.

Export Results button

Export the data from all plots to an Excel workbook.
